Project overview
City Place in Crawley, a bustling business hub, recognised the need to provide EV charging facilities for employees and visitors to support the growing adoption of electric vehicles. With sustainability and convenience as key priorities, the development partnered with Roam to implement a tailored charging solution.
Roam installed 24 active EV charging sockets at City Place, consisting of 18 fast 7.4kW chargers and 6 rapid 22kW chargers. This client-funded solution was designed to meet the unique needs of a busy workplace, ensuring employees and visitors could seamlessly charge their vehicles during the day.
The chargers were strategically positioned for maximum accessibility, allowing users to integrate charging into their daily routines with ease. All units are connected to the Roam platform, providing simple and efficient management for the client and a reliable experience for drivers.
