Wimbledon Grounds, developed by Galliard Homes, is a vibrant residential development in the heart of Wimbledon, comprising Stadia One and Stadia Three. Offering a mix of studio, one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, the development combines contemporary design with modern living. Situated in an affluent area with growing EV adoption, the site required a cutting-edge charging solution to replace its outdated infrastructure and meet the needs of its residents.

Galliard Homes partnered with Roam to deliver a full retrofit of the existing EV charging network. This involved carefully removing the old chargers and replacing them with 49 advanced 7.4kW charging points, tailored to the development's unique requirements. The retrofit process was designed to integrate seamlessly into the existing infrastructure while minimising disruption for residents.

Roam’s team carried out an in-depth site survey to ensure that the new system would provide reliable and accessible charging for all users. The retrofit not only upgraded the site’s technology but also enhanced its scalability, ensuring that future EV growth can be accommodated without additional infrastructure changes.

The chargers were connected to the Roam platform, offering residents and visitors an intuitive and user-friendly charging experience. Real-time monitoring and management capabilities mean the system is easy to oversee and maintain, delivering long-term reliability.
