Tweedmill Shopping Outlet
Installing a mix of fast and rapid chargers at Tweedmill Shopping Outlet, supporting eco-conscious shoppers.
Project overview
Tweedmill Shopping Outlet in Saint Asaph, a popular destination for shoppers in North Wales, partnered with Roam to provide EV charging facilities that align with the growing needs of eco-conscious customers. The introduction of EV chargers reflects Tweedmill’s commitment to sustainability and enhancing the customer experience.
Roam installed 4 active 22kW chargers and 4 active 50kW chargers, providing a mix of fast and rapid charging options for visitors. Additionally, 6 passive 22kW bays were included in the project, allowing for future upgrades as demand for EV charging increases. This fully funded solution required no upfront costs for Tweedmill, with Roam covering installation, ongoing maintenance, and 24/7 support for a seamless operation.
The strategically placed chargers make it easy for customers to top up their vehicles while enjoying a day of shopping. By offering this key amenity, Tweedmill not only supports the transition to electric vehicles but also reinforces its reputation as a forward-thinking retail destination, ready to meet the evolving needs of its visitors.
